At last we’ve found a Steak Pie that ticks ALL our boxes; using the best grass fed chunky cut beef, slow cooked in a wonderful rich and peppery gravy, made to a local Lanark family recipe and most importantly for us, we know that we can ship it around the UK and it will arrive in one piece! (We’ve tried over 23 different pies, shapes, containers and wrappings over the last 3 months and finally we think we’ve cracked it!)

The diced steak & gravy is slow cooked and then cooled in its foil tray before a separate pastry lid is added across the top, then the pie is carefully wrapped and frozen overnight before being sent for dispatch. The beauty of this approach is that the meat and the pastry have been timed to cook perfectly together in the oven (from frozen or fridge.) (the pie chef tried dozens of pastry toppings, mixes and depths before she got it just right).

This is actually our FIRST & ONLY Frozen product, we thought about this long and hard but think its worth it to get this to you safe, tasty & in one ready to cook piece.

To Cook: fan oven 180 degrees (35-45 minutes for small pie, 60-70 minutes for large pie.
